Receiving Goods

Upon receiving your order, you must inspect it to ensure all items are included and are in good condition. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us via email to sales@portablefridgesonline.com.au within 5 days of receipt - including the relevant information below:

 


Missing Parts / Incorrect Parts

If your order has been delivered incomplete, please first check the shipping tracking details for your order. It may indicate that there is a subsequent delivery still coming.

If the tracking details show the order has been delivered fully, please email us including:

  • Order Number
  • Description of item missing / incorrectly supplied
  • Photo of the all the items received

 


Faulty Goods

If a product is faulty from manufacture on delivery (up to 5 days from delivery date), we will replace the goods at no cost to you. We require an email from you showing:

  • Order number
  • Product Number / Make / Model
  • Serial # of unit
  • Description of the problem
  • Photo of the item (showing the problem if possible)

Upon receiving this information, we will advise you how to return the item.

Please note, that we require the original item back prior to sending the replacement. If you need the item earlier, we will charge you for a 2nd item, and then refund the original costs once the original is received back.


Change of Mind

If you decide you no longer want the item, we accept returns. You can either organise freight to return the goods (with tracking facility), drop it off, or we can arrange our courier to collect. Returns are subject to freight and handling charges. Please note we don't refund the original outgoing freight charges which can be higher than the discounted amount / flat rate you were charged originally. Handling charges are $35 per return.

 


 

Damage in Transit

If a product is damaged through transit, we do not specifically cover the item for replacement, unless your order includes freight insurance. We recommend that you insure your order for loss or damage in transit here.

If the item is delivered damaged, you must note it on the delivery receipt when you sign for it, or not accept delivery.

Transit damaged orders that are not covered by Freight Insurance will be assessed on a case-by-case basis for repair/replacement, though no additional freight expenses will be covered should we agree to provide a repair/replacement product. You as the customer will be responsible for the costs of returning the damaged item and having a replacement shipped out.


General

The customer is responsible for all shipping costs. We do not refund shipping charges, insurance charges or lost return packages.

Please note that we are unable to refund or replace units that have been used to store food or beverages due to Health & Safety regulations. 


Faulty Items After Delivery

After 5 days from delivery, if your item malfunctions, it can be repaired/replaced under the manufacturers warranty using local service agents, or can be returned to us for replacement. We do not cover freight costs for items returned to us in this case.

 


 Product Warranties

All products carry manufacturer's warranties valid throughout Australia.
